Though we’re accustomed to talking about diverse and inclusivework environments in San Francisco, our aesthetic, olfactory and behavioural lives remain shaped by the socially constructed binaries of gender.
This is especially the case in the world of fashion. But in recent years, we’ve seen an exciting wave of designers release unisex collections, and break away from the conventional process of designing for men and women separately.
Join us for a panel discussion and Q&A with up and coming designers who create beautiful items for our everyday lives, in industries that have traditionally relied on particular colors, cuts and textures to express gender.
There will also be time to enjoy a drink and meet others in the design community. 😉
Panelists include Noah Guy, Founder of Joshu+Vela, and surprise guests. The panel will be facilitated by Carina Fushimi.
